Just an update from the Out of Hours Team. Following a recent decision by the Scottish Government, in honour of Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Friday 3 June 2022 will now be treated as a Public Holiday for all NHS Scotland staff.
Chalmers will cover this day via the NHS 24 on 111 for all registered NHS and unregistered patients in Lothian.
Please note that Thursday the 2nd of June is not a Public Holiday in Scotland.
Could I ask you update your practice answer machine/voicemail messages accordingly, and stress again that this is covered via calling 111.
