Dear Practitioners
Practices who have already had teams of staff successfully face fitted will have had supplies of 50 gowns and 25 masks each per dentist and nurse issued at the centre where the testing took place.
National Procurement are working to establish an ordering and delivery system for all dental PPE and we will let you know when this is in place.
In the meantime practices who have already been fitted with FFP3 masks and gowns will be able to arrange further supplies as follows:
Edinburgh and West Lothian practices
By telephoning the Pathway Team on 0131 537 8959 Monday to Thursday 0900-1600 and Friday 0900-1530.
An appointment will then be given for pick up at Edinburgh Dental Institute or the Dental Department, Howden Health Centre
East and Midlothian practices should contact dental.contract@nhslothian.scot.nhs.uk when they require more FFP3 masks and gowns.
Midlothian practices can then pick up from the Midlothian PPE Hub, Danderhall Leisure Centre
Opening hours are 09.00 – 16.30 Mon-Thurs and 09.00 – 15.00 on Friday.
Practices in East Lothian will have their supplies delivered by the staff from the East Lothian PPE Hub, East Lothian Community Hospital
