Introduction from Chair of Conference
Chairing conference has been a privilege I shall always cherish, both challenging and fulfilling it has afforded me an insight and stimulated an interest in dental politics.
Conference would not happen without the hard work support and guidance of the Conference Agenda Committee, especially Nicola Kaya, Policy Adviser at the BDA and Secretary to Conference. Nicola’s organisation of the conference diary and efficient encouragement keeps the committee on course throughout the year. A huge thank you to both Nicola and the committee for their support and hard work throughout the year. Like everything else in dentistry, conference is more financially challenged than ever, I would like to thank our conference sponsors for their continued support. It is very much appreciated. This year we were delighted to welcome Condies Health, Optident, Christie & Co, MDDUS, KavoKerr, Medical Money Management, Braemar Finance, and Lithium. Thank you also to PSD for providing a very useful stand and advice team to our delegates.
